Roots is a space for younger teens to gather together and find a safe place that's theirs. We meet at the Church building on a Friday night (term time) 5.30pm to 7pm. The same group also meet once a month during the Sunday message in a group called the BRIDGE.
This is all about fun, faith and finding friendships.
On Fridays at ROOTS you can expect a youth meeting with a chance to join in some crazy games, worship, a message, and an open environment to ask questions and figure things out. There's plenty of time for hanging out together and having snacks.
On Sundays at the BRIDGE the session is shorter and focussed on bridging the gap between the young teen experience and the church focus in faith at that time. It's still sociable with fun and of course snacks!
Roots and the Bridge are an extension of our church family and represents our values, but every background and all young teenagers are welcome to join in.
